You lead by example by inspiring team members to embrace innovation and are maintaining a positive and proactive approach in all aspects of work.  As a Social Producer at Madwell, you’ll be working alongside our creative, fabrication, content,  social, strategy teams to bring outstanding creative work to life

Who We Are
Madwell is a Brooklyn-based creative collective built to disrupt the traditional agency model. Why? Because we believe successful marketing can be anything. And we love that. We were founded in 2010 in Bushwick, Brooklyn and still call that colorful, creative neighborhood home. (We also call Denver home—that’s where you’ll find our sister office.) We believe that wild creativity can live happily alongside a laser-focus on results, and we consistently work with a wide range of clients including cosmetics, telcom, spirits, and oh so much more. 

What You’ll Do
As a Social Producer at Madwell, you’ll be responsible for bringing social content to life in an organized manner. You’ll work alongside the wider strategy, account, production, and creative teams to ensure we are delivering best-in-class social media content, helping to create content that stands out for our clients. While your executional focus should be on social media, you should be an integrated producer and able to produce across all mediums.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the concepting and execution process for platform-specific content (think: TikTok, Instagram or Twitter).
  • Proactively sets realistic delivery expectations based on understanding of goals, feasibility, and client expectations.
  • Manage budgets and reconcile projects in a timeline manner.
  • Leads internal meetings and agendas with ease. Able to create and deliver internal presentations with clear next steps and action items.
  • Partner closely with content creators, strategy, and creative team members to proactively identify social trends and how to integrate them into our social deliverables.
  • Understanding of photo and video production best practices. Able to produce small scale shoots on a quick timeline.
  • Manage talent contracts and usage rights. 
  • Partners with team leads across all departments and presents solutions to foreseeable challenges.
  • Prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our work.


Our Must-Haves:

  • Uses and creates on social platforms daily.
  • Takes initiative to experiment and champions bold ideas.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms, including their respective strengths, nuances, and best practices. 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Effective at conflict resolution.
  • Embraces the idea that change is constant.
  • Passionate about the tech and digital space, intimate knowledge around brands that win in the those feeds 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required.
  • Must be located within commuting distance of our Brooklyn office, and able to come into one of our offices three times a week.


Where You’ve Been

  • 3-5 years as a creative producer. Preferably in an agency.

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000

* This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC or Denver office. You must be located within commuting distance of Brooklyn, NY or Denver, CO to be considered for this role.
